YOU GUYS, YOU GUYS! The BBC is working on a miniseries that will star Gillian Anderson AND Archie Panjabi. I don't know if I can handle seeing them on the same screen. MY HEAD MIGHT EXPLODE FROM FLAILING. 

It's called The Fall and is about a serial killer in Belfast. GA is set to play the detective superintendent (no idea what this is, maybe it's a UK thing) in charge of the investigation and apparently AP is going to be a pathologist. APPARENTLY THEIR CHARACTERS ARE GOING TO HAVE A "CLOSE WORKING RELATIONSHIP." I don't know if I can handle this.

It's set to come out in fall autumn 2012. Apparently BBC America may be airing it here later, but I will nooooot be waiting that long. :p

I don't actually know if very many people on my f-list watch both XF and TGW (o hai Jamie!), but just in case...now you know. And hopefully you are also squeeful. :D

I just stumbled upon this article about Gillian Anderson's latest project -- in a show called The Fall as a "Detective Superintendent on secondment from the MET" (yeah, noooooot a clue what any of that means, but I think it's something involving the British police...) to catch a serial killer in Belfast. Confession time: I originally clicked on the article because I misread it as saying she was set to play a serial killer and I was ridiculously excited about that. But hey, I'll take the serial killer hunter as well. :p

It's going to be a five-episode series on the BBC, which probably means it will be a real pain in the ass to watch here, but it sounds like it might be worth it! Apparently filming starts next month, but I've no idea when it will actually air. I suppose I'll have to stick to The X-Files to get my GA fix until then. :D

As for the 1/2 of a squeeful thing, I found a super-short clip of some random movie in which she speaks French, English with a French (?) accent, and English with an English accent all in less than 2 minutes. I know approximately twelve words in French, few of which are appropriate for mixed company, so I'm highly unqualified to comment on how good her French is. But it's cute nevertheless!
